Back to School Reminders

If you will be dropping your child off at school in the morning, please arrive between 8:30 and 8:40am.  When you drive into the front lot you will continue straight, through the fence and loop around by the side of the building.  You will continue forward and turn right to pull up to the front of the building and your child will enter the building through the main entrance. This is the same as the drop off line last year.  Please have your child(ren) exit the vehicle on the right side for safety.  There will be teachers monitoring the area and helping those who need assistance.  We ask that parents remain in vehicles during this time so that we can keep the line moving along.

Parent pick up will follow the same procedure as above and again we ask that you please remain in your vehicle for pickup.  A name tag was sent home with your child.  If you need an additional name tag, please email Mrs. Beaulieu in the main office.  Please place this tag in the window of your vehicle so that we can quickly identify who you are picking up.  If your child needs assistance buckling their seat belt, please pull into one of our visitor parking spots to get out of the vehicle to help them.  Parent pick up begins at 3:15pm and ends at 3:30pm. Please be patient with us this first week or so as we get to know the new families and check IDs for those we do not know yet. Have your ID ready if you are new to our school.

As a reminder, whenever there is a change in pickup plan for your child, please make sure to make a “plan change” in Pickup Patrol so that we are sure to send them off to the right place at the end of the school day.  We also use PickUp Patrol to report absences.  If your child is going to be absent or late, please let us know through PickUp Patrol.

Lastly, families may set up an account on Myschoolbucks.com to make school lunch payments.  You will need your student’s ID to set this account up for the first time.  Your child’s ID number can be found on the letter that was emailed over the summer with their classroom teacher’s name.  MySchoolBucks will allow you to view accounts and make payments to the food service program using your credit card. Checks may also be made out to The Candia School District and sent to school if you would prefer. Please put food service and your student’s name in the memo section. Cash is also accepted, but should be sent in an envelope. Please label the envelope clearly with attention “kitchen” and student name.  Cash will not be accepted at the register itself, it will need to be sent to the kitchen in an envelope in the morning.
