Dear Moore School Families;

Today, at approximately 11:30am, several staff members and students heard a sound that resembled gun shots in close proximity to the school grounds.  Administration immediately called for a shelter in place and the Candia Police Department was notified.  At 12:05pm after consultation with Chief McGillen, students and staff were able to move throughout the building, but remain inside while the Candia Police Department continued their investigation.  At 12:25pm I was notified that the sounds were caused by fireworks being set off in a nearby yard.  All typical activities resumed at that time.
