Distance Learning Day 4 Update

Today is day 4 of distance learning. Thank you all for your kind words of support yesterday as you were picking up materials. I hope that you are finding the distance learning website easy to use. If your child is in grades 4-8, please encourage them to watch the video(s) of their teacher(s) on the distance learning site before beginning their work in Google Classroom. Videos are also available for grades K-3.

If at all possible, it is recommended that children be physically active for at least 60 minutes each day. Some ideas for physical activity that keep in mind the need for social distancing include: taking the dog for a walk, making up a dance, going for a hike, bike riding, riding a scooter or skateboard, building a fort, playing hopscotch, exercising during tv commercials, jumping rope or on a trampoline. Unfortunately, the school closure includes all school property including the playground, so that will not be an option for a little while.

Please continue to reach out to candia.helpdesk@sau15.net if you are having any technical issues.
