The Henry W. Moore School is proud to announce that it has been ranked among the top schools in New Hampshire by U.S. News & World Report in its 2026 Best Elementary and Middle Schools rankings.
Henry W. Moore School earned a ranking of #18 out of 443 elementary schools in the state, placing it in the top 5% of all New Hampshire elementary schools. The school also achieved a ranking of #37 out of 270 middle schools, positioning it in the top 15% statewide.
This recognition follows a series of recent honors for the school and its leadership. Principal Becky Wing was named a 2024 National Distinguished Principal and the 2024–2025 New Hampshire Elementary Principal of the Year. In addition, the Henry W. Moore School was named the 2025 New Hampshire K–8 School of Excellence by the New Hampshire Excellence in Education Awards program in April.
Principal Wing shared, “We are incredibly proud of this recognition. It reflects the consistent effort and care our teachers and staff put into helping every student grow and succeed. Our students’ achievements are a testament to a supportive school community and a shared focus on high-quality learning.”
The U.S. News & World Report rankings evaluate schools based on state assessment performance, proficiency in core subjects, and how effectively schools serve their students across multiple measures of academic success.
